The function most studios bill as extra.
Haldi at eleven, chooda before anyone has eaten, getting ready through the middle of the day. Flat light, no stage, no queue for the couple, and these are the photographs families end up framing.
Most NCR studios start billing from four in the afternoon and treat the morning as an add-on. We do not. Every full-day booking includes the morning functions with the full team, and where the bride's and groom's functions run in parallel we cover both. Do you cover haldi separately from the wedding?
It is part of full-day coverage as standard, not an add-on. If you only want the morning functions covered, that is possible too.
How do you protect equipment during haldi?
Weather-sealed bodies, rain covers and spare gear in the bag. Haldi is turmeric, water and enthusiasm, and we plan for all three.
Do you cover chooda and kaleere?
Yes. Chooda is early, indoors and usually badly lit, which is exactly why it gets under-shot by studios who arrive later in the day.
What time do you arrive for a morning function?
Before it starts. For a haldi at eleven we are usually there by nine-thirty, which gives us the getting-ready frames as well.
Can you cover the bride's and groom's functions at the same time?
Yes. This is the main reason we field four to seven shooters. Parallel functions in two houses need two teams.
