Pricing & booking
How much does wedding photography cost in Delhi NCR?
The market runs from roughly ₹45,000 to well over ₹2,00,000 per day, and the number depends on team size, days, functions, deliverables and travel. We price each wedding individually. Message us with your dates and function list for a proposal, usually within a day.
Why do you not publish fixed prices?
Because no two weddings need the same thing. A one-day wedding and a three-day wedding across two cities cannot come off the same price list. A fixed package either overcharges you for what you do not need or leaves out what you do.
How much advance is required to book a date?
A booking advance holds the date. The exact figure and the payment schedule are set out in the proposal before anything is paid.
Do you hold dates without a deposit?
Informally and briefly, yes. A date is only confirmed once the advance is paid, and peak-season dates move fast.
What is your cancellation policy?
It is written into the contract before you pay anything. Ask us for the terms up front and we will send them.
Can we reschedule if the wedding date changes?
In most cases yes, subject to availability on the new date. Tell us as early as you can.
How far in advance should we book?
Peak-season NCR dates, November to February and April to May, often go six to ten months ahead. Off-season is far easier.
Do you give a GST invoice?
Yes. Ask when you book so the paperwork is set up correctly.
Coverage & team
How many photographers will cover our wedding?
Between four and seven, depending on functions and venues: a lead, a second, a candid specialist, a cinematographer, and a drone operator where the venue allows it.
How many hours of coverage do we get?
Full-day coverage runs from the morning function to the end of the evening event. It is not a four-hour evening block.
Do you cover multi-day weddings?
Yes, and most of our work is two or three day weddings. The team scales with the functions.
Can you cover the bride's and groom's functions at the same time?
Yes. Parallel functions in two houses need two teams, and this is the main reason we field four to seven people.
Do you cover morning functions like haldi and mehendi?
Yes, as standard. Haldi, mehendi, chooda and getting-ready are shot with the same team and the same attention as the reception.
What time do you arrive?
Before the first function starts. For a haldi at eleven we are usually on site by nine-thirty.
What if a photographer falls ill on the day?
Because we work as a team, no single absence stops coverage, and we keep backup shooters on call during peak season.
Do you carry backup equipment?
Duplicate camera bodies and lenses in every bag, plus spare batteries and cards.
Style & approach
What is the difference between candid and traditional photography?
Candid is documentary: nothing posed, nothing arranged. Traditional is the posed work, family groups and formal portraits. We shoot both at every wedding, with different people assigned to each.
Will you direct us?
Only for portraits and family groups. Through the functions we stay out of the way.
Do you do posed family group photographs?
Yes, and we encourage a shot list for them. These are the photographs people ask for years later.
What editing style do you use?
Natural colour, true skin tones, no heavy filters. We can match a particular look if you send references.
Do you use flash during the ceremony?
Sparingly. Some ceremonies and venues restrict it, and a mandap at night needs some light to hold detail. We agree the approach with you beforehand.
Can we give you a shot list?
Please do, particularly for family groups. Send it a week before and we will build it into the timeline.
Traditions & ceremonies
Have you photographed Punjabi weddings?
Many. Chooda, kaleere, baraat and the ghodi are all familiar ground, and we know where a photographer can and cannot stand during each.
Do you shoot Marwari and Rajasthani weddings?
Yes. Multi-day functions, mehfil evenings and the specific rituals that go with them.
Do you cover South Indian and Bengali ceremonies?
Yes. Both have ritual sequences that are easy to miss if the team has not shot one before, so we brief in advance.
Do you cover Sikh Anand Karaj ceremonies?
Yes, regularly. Gurudwara etiquette on where a photographer may stand and when is briefed to the whole team beforehand.
Do you photograph Nikah ceremonies?
Yes. We follow whatever the family and venue require on coverage and on separate arrangements for the ladies' side.
Are there rituals where photography is not allowed?
Some, depending on the family, the priest and the venue. We ask beforehand rather than finding out mid-ceremony.
Deliverables
How many edited photographs will we get?
A full wedding day typically produces several hundred edited images. We do not pad the count with near-duplicates.
How long until we get our photos?
A teaser set soon after the wedding, then the full edit. Turnaround depends on the size of the wedding and the season. Ask us and we will give you the timeline in writing.
How long until the film?
After the photographs, since the edit takes longer. Highlight film first, then the full film.
How are photos delivered?
A private online gallery you can download from and share, plus a drive on request.
Do we get printing rights?
Yes, for personal use. Commercial use is a separate conversation.
Can we ask for re-edits?
Within reason and within an agreed window, yes. Tell us what is not working and we will fix it.
Will you post our photographs publicly?
Only with your permission. If you would rather nothing was published, say so at booking and we will note it in the contract.
Travel & destination
Do you travel for destination weddings?
Yes, across India and internationally. Jaipur, Udaipur, Mussoorie, Rishikesh and Jim Corbett are regular.
Who pays for travel and accommodation?
Handled separately from the coverage fee, and set out clearly in the proposal.
Do you charge travel within Delhi NCR?
Not for the main NCR cities. Outlying locations are quoted case by case.
How early do you arrive for a destination wedding?
A day ahead where possible, so the team can see the venue in daylight before the first function.
Albums & add-ons
What album sizes do you offer?
Several, from compact photobooks to large hand-finished albums. We will show you samples before you choose.
Who selects the album photographs?
You shortlist, we design, and you approve the draft before it goes to print.
Can we order extra copies for parents?
Yes, and it is cheaper to order them with the original run.
Do you offer drone coverage?
Yes, where the venue and local rules permit it. Some NCR venues near flight paths do not allow drones.
Do you shoot maternity, baby and corporate work?
Yes, alongside weddings. Message us with what you have in mind.
